The coffee you’ll reach for every day. FOUNDATION is smooth, chocolate-forward, and built for people who want a better version of the coffee they already drink. Rich cocoa, caramel, and vanilla lead the cup, with just enough brightness to keep it clean and balanced. If you like classic “dark coffee” but want something smoother, fresher, and more refined—this is it.

Best for: Those who want a classic "dark coffee” profile that still tastes clean, refined, and better than what they’re used to. Perfect for drip, espresso, or anyone reaching for a reliable daily coffee that just works.

Traceable & Intentional

We don’t just source coffee — we bring it directly from the farm into our hands, and then straight to your door. By working closely with small farms With Foundation, we support Juan and Juli's farm at the source while ensuring every coffee is fully traceable from origin to roast. Every batch is roasted fresh by us in Tampa, following our ideal roast curves to highlight the natural flavors of each bean — no shortcuts, no exporters, no mass production, no outsourcing. Just intentional sourcing, precise roasting, and coffee that tells a story from the first sip to the last.

  • Step 1

Coffee is grown under shade using organic, regenerative practices. Only fully ripe cherries are handpicked by experienced farmers.
  • Step 2

Each harvest is sorted, and only the best cherries move forward. Lower-grade fruit is removed early.
  • Step 3

Beans are processed using washed, honey, or natural methods, then carefully dried— up to 30 days in controlled greenhouse environments.
  • Step 4

After drying, beans are hand-sorted again to remove defects. Only the highest-quality beans make export grade.
  • Step 5

Green Coffee from the current season is shipped directly to us—no middle storage. We roast in small batches in Tampa to control consistency and freshness.
  • Step 6

Every batch is cupped and inspected by us before being packaged and shipped directly to you.

FAQ

  • We source our coffee from farms that practice regenerative agriculture. FOUNDATION is sourced from an Organic Certified farm. While Good Grounds Coffee is not USDA Organic certified as a roaster or handler, our coffee contains one ingredient only: coffee sourced directly from these certified farms and roasted with care in small batches. This means the coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides or harmful chemicals, using farming methods that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability.

Our coffee is sourced from farms in Colombia that hold USDA Organic certifications and use regenerative farming practices focused on soil health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability. These farms avoid the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, relying instead on natural growing methods and careful land stewardship. While Good Grounds Coffee is not USDA Organic certified as a roaster or handler, our coffee contains one ingredient only: coffee sourced directly from these certified farms and roasted with care in small batches.

  • We roast our coffee bi-weekly in small batches to ensure maximum freshness. Every batch is roasted in-house, giving us full control over quality and flavor. This approach means the coffee you receive is recently roasted and ready to deliver its full potential.

  • Whole beans lock in flavor and aroma much better than pre-ground coffee. Grinding at home just before brewing gives you the freshest, most flavorful cup every time.

  • Tasting notes highlight the flavors you can expect from each coffee. They help guide you to a coffee you’ll enjoy—whether it’s chocolatey, fruity, floral, or nutty. Each of our coffees has carefully curated tasting notes to reflect the unique character of the beans. Tasting notes are interpretative.

  • While coffee can be enjoyed for a few months after roasting whole beans are at their peak within 3–4 weeks of roasting.

Keep your coffee beans in the original pouch, sealed and store ,in a cool, dark place —room temperature storage is best for maintaining flavor and aroma.

We split 16oz into two 8oz bags to preserve freshness. Coffee starts to lose flavor once opened, so smaller bags let you enjoy your coffee at its peak, one bag at a time.

  • Our beans can be enjoyed with any brewing method. We recommend grinding fresh at home to match your brewing method.
