Orange Vanilla Dream Syrup: Your April Coffee Upgrade
Share
April said: “Let’s be fresh, fun, and a little extra.” So naturally… your coffee should follow suit.
If you’re not in the mood for heavy, super-sweet flavors anymore, this one’s for you. It’s light, citrusy, smooth—and honestly tastes like spring showed up in your cup.
Introducing: Orange Vanilla Dream Syrup ✨
Why This Syrup Works (Like, Really Works)
Orange + vanilla is one of those combos that just makes sense.
Orange = bright, fresh, slightly zesty
Vanilla = smooth, mellow, balances everything out
Together? It tastes like those nostalgic orange creamsicle vibes… but in a grown-up, “I make my own coffee now” way.
What you'll need
- 1/2 cup sugar (or honey if you want it softer)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3–4 strips of orange peel (no white pith—trust me)
- 1 pinch of salt
How to Make It (Easy, Promise)
-
Add water, sugar, and orange peel to a saucepan
- Heat on medium-low, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Simmer for 3-5 minutes (not a full boil- just enough to wake up the orange flavor)
-
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt
- Let it cool, then strain out the peels
-
Pour into a jar and try not to feel overly proud of yourself. Store in Fridge :)
How to use it
Add 1–2 tablespoons to Iced lattes (this is THE move), Cold Brew, or Hot Lattes
Pairs really well with Oat milk or whole milk, our Golden Hour Espresso Blend, Sitting outside pretending your life is a Pinterest board
Optional Glow-Up
If you want to play around, toss in a little cinnamon for warmth or mix with chocolate syrup for a mocha situation
Final Thoughts
This syrup is basically April in liquid form—bright, easy, and just sweet enough to make your day better. It’s not trying too hard. It’s not overly complicated. It just works. Because good coffee starts with good grounds… but a little orange vanilla moment? That’s where the magic is 🍊✨
